Senior System Administrator - IT BUSINESS: Critical Flow Solutions (CFS) LOCATION: Sandy, Utah or Channelview, Texas DIRECT REPORTING: Sr. Manager, IT Solutions POSITION DETAILS Position Summary As the Senior Systems Administrator, you will take a holistic approach to solution development, considering the aspects of all systems and the overall environment in the system's design, development, deployment, and maintenance to install and administer server applications, adjust or reconfigure major applications, and tailor them to meet the specific needs of the organization in a team-oriented environment. You will investigate and recommend solution roadmaps and provide support and leadership through continuous improvement. You will provide ongoing applications-related training, technical support, and will troubleshoot system issues. You Will:
- Develop, lead, and direct the ongoing development and support of critical business systems and applications including Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), and Advanced Distribution Management System (ADMS), used at the Company for our Aftermarket business
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical and functional software issues, and align technology activities with strategic organizational goals and continuous improvement initiatives
- Manage the development, modification, training, and administration of critical applications
- Perform code reviews, quality checks, and developer integration testing.
- Manage relationships with major vendors and service providers
- Prioritize and schedule projects, conduct feasibility studies, provide project management, resource allocation, and communication with Leadership
- Ensure system solutions are cost-effective and meet the needs of the organization
- Manage operational stability of technologies and services supporting the business
- Participate in integration activities across all platforms
- Complete projects on time and within budget, ensuring quality standards and managing to stakeholder requirements
- Participate in the development of Standard Operating Procedures for key tasks using established policies and considering business needs and expectations.
- Remain competent and current through self-directed professional reading, attending professional development courses, and attending training and/or courses
- Participate in and support Sarbanes' Oxley compliance as related to the ERP system
- Perform other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
You Have:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related technical field, or combination of education and experience
- Minimum of three years of experience in the design of major business computer systems or implementation and/or management of major software systems
- Excellent Systems Thinking mindset
- Superior systems troubleshooting skills
- A minimum of 7 years' experience developing ERP, Syteline 10 experience is a plus
- Working knowledge of Office365 Suite, PLM, CRM, SQL
- Ability to maintain the highly secure nature of information technology work
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to travel to other business sites and attend industry conferences
