Scope:
Responsible for overall supervision and coordination of the assigned area. Plans, organizes, and accomplishes the daily, weekly,
monthly and annual goals for assigned area with regard to safety, quality, and productivity. Monitors quantitative performance metrics and takes corrective actions as required to attain goals established by management. Creates an environment where employees are motivated and rewarded for achieving high levels of performance. Applies appropriate structured problem solving methods and techniques to improve performance of assigned area. Supports new product and process development by providing resources and inspection input to ensure robust and efficient methods are introduced into the area. Responsible for contributing to the achievement of total customer satisfaction by providing high quality and timely service to all internal and external customers.

Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Supervise various personnel including activities such as Time & Attendance, Staffing, Employee Relations, Training and Performance Appraisals.
2. Partner with Purchasing, Planning, Stock Room, Quality, and Engineering to facilitate achieving department goals.
3. Partner with HR to lead the hiring process for new production personnel.
4. Develop and mentor personnel by providing coaching, guidance, and training. Develop training materials and aides.
5. Endure adequate inspection capacity and utilization using quantitative analysis.
6. Provide employee training on safety and the proper handling of hazardous waste and chemicals. Proactively support a safe work
environment by identifying and resolving risk and monitoring personnel to ensure all safety precautions are in place and being followed. Ensures employee accountability for complying with safety requirements.
7. Develop, compile and communicate department reports, metrics and measures.
8. Resolve or escalate issues in a timely manner; often time involving Quality and Materials Management
9. Lead daily work area huddles/white board meetings.

Process Management:
1. Ensure that employee safety, product quality and reliability are maintained throughout the inspection process.
2. Lead the identification and resolution of Inspection Issues. Through MRB/PNCMR and other processes, work with other departments such as quality, engineering, supply chain, and inventory control to perform root cause analysis and to develop, validate, and implement solutions.
3. Utilize department resources to collect, analyze and communicate department performance data
4. Partner with Quality and Engineering to develop robust inspection plans for new processes and products.
5. Initiate and support process improvement activities in support of departmental goals and objectives.
6. Ensures appropriate preventative maintenance, calibration, and ESD processes and procedures are in place and followed.
7. Assure assigned areas are knowledgeable and compliant with AS9100 Quality Systems procedures.
8. Establishes a culture of process discipline where inspection processes are understood and followed consistently by production personnel.

Continuous Improvement:
1. Drives 5S disciplines throughout production areas.
2. Creates a work environment where employee engagement and participation in improvement projects is expected, encouraged and recognized.
3. Provides mentorship to team members for CI activities.
4. Develop, compile and communicate department improvement plans.
5. Leads small scale improvement projects in assigned area and participates in larger scope improvement tasks as reviewed and approved by management.

General:
1. Comply with and support all department and corporate policies and procedures, included but not limited to Affirmative Action/EEO regulations, safety, security, ESD, FOD, OSHA, and the Code of Ethics and Business Conduct.
2. Take personal ownership of internal and external customer issues and follows through to resolution in a timely manner.
3. Take full responsibility for assigned projects and tasks.
4. Perform all other related duties as assigned.

Essential Knowledge and Skills:
1. Demonstrated leadership skills and abilities. Leverage each member's strengths and create a motivating environment for their team to achieve desired results. Able to communicate goals and inspire the organization to achieve them. Provides clear, frequent direction to subordinates and support functions, in support of Inspection and production goals.
2. Strong customer service and quality orientation.
3. Capable of developing and executing effective plans with assistance from management; identify obstacles and issues and communicate effectively to get things resolved.
4. Demonstrated ability to oversee and coordinate continuous improvement projects that utilize methods and techniques such as: SPC, 5S, Standardize Work, Fishbone Diagrams, Kanban, JIT, and Kaizen.
5. Ability to participate in improvement initiatives and mentor others in the effective application of quantitative/structured problem solving techniques and methods.
6. Able to guide teams to resolve routine issues with minimal oversight. Identifies and involves appropriate resources to resolve issues.
7. Knowledge of ERP systems including MRP and Inventory Control Concepts
8. Ability to use simple measurement/test equipment calipers, micrometers, microscope, CMM, X-ray and XRF equipment.
9. Strong analytical, data acquisition, and computer skills. Able to independently perform research in ERP system and support systems such as ETQ Reliance.

Education and Experience:
Required: Associate Degree ; Preferred: Bachelor Degree. 8+ years relevant work experience - incoming inspection, inventory control. Six Sigma or Lean continuous improvement experience preferred.

Compensation and Benefits:

TTM offers a variety of health and well-being benefit programs. Benefits are available on the 1st of the month following date of hire. For some positions, only PTO and holiday benefits are offered.

Compensation ranges for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At TTM Technologies, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on each individual set of circumstances. A reasonable estimate of the current range is:

$55,449 - $92,415

Additional compensation: An annual or quarterly company bonus may apply based on position assignment. Positions hired for alternative shift may be eligible for a shift premium based on the assigned shift and location.

Must comply with TTM Export Control Policies and Procedures and all applicable laws including ITAR, EAR and OFAC including but not limited to: a) being able to identify ITAR product on the manufacturing floor and understand that access to these products and related technical data is restricted to only US Citizens and US Permanent Residents; b) recognition ofForeign Person visitors by badge differentiation; c) understand and follow authorization procedures for bringing foreign visitors into facilities (VAL); d) understand the Export and ITAR requirements for shipments leaving the US; e) manage vendor approvals for ITAR manufacturing and services.
