Continental Properties is seeking a Portfolio Vice President (PVP) of Multifamily Operations, where you'll play a pivotal role in driving the strategic and financial success of our multifamily communities. In this leadership position, you'll focus on achieving operational excellence, optimizing financial performance, and fostering a culture deeply rooted in customer centricity and continuous improvement. Reporting directly to the Sr. Vice President of Operations, you'll oversee half of our portfolio of 10,000 homes. This role is perfect for an experienced operations leader like you, who is passionate about driving results, championing team development, and elevating resident satisfaction.

Ideally our next PVP will be located or willing to relocate to Atlanta, Dallas, Orlando, Chicago or surrounding areas. Relocation assistance can be provided.

Essential Responsibilities:



  • Lead change initiatives, focusing on both short-term impact and long-term objectives
  • Adapt strategies to changing circumstances, balancing profitability, customer satisfaction, and team engagement and development
  • Review metrics across the portfolio to ensure standards are met in revenue, customer service, maintenance, and training; partner with the VP of Multifamily Operations on annual initiatives that drive revenue, performance metrics, and a people-first culture
  • Act as a key leader within and beyond Operations, enhancing interdepartmental collaboration and communication
  • Conduct in-depth financial reviews, utilizing advanced analysis techniques to interpret trends and make strategic recommendations
  • Inspire direct reports and onsite teams to uphold high standards of customer service, promoting a proactive, resident-centered approach



Skills for Success:



  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 10+ years in community management, regional roles, and multi-level leadership
  • Proficiency in property management software and leveraging analytics to enhance data driven decision making
  • Has a deep understanding of the multifamily landscape, marketplace dynamics, and competitive positioning
