Printpack, a leading manufacturer of flexible packaging, is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of Accounting Specialist/Product Cost Analyst in Villa Rica, GA. This position will report to the Plant Controller. Minimum Requirements: A recent graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance 2-3 years of work experience in related field (for Plant Cost Analyst) Exhibits application of analytical abilities and collaborative mindset Preferred Skills and Qualifications: Related work experience or internship in this field is a plus High Excel proficiency Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization and in teams as needed Be able to prioritize and multitask the workflow Key Responsibilities & Competencies: Perform analysis and interpretation of operational performance Perform inventory costing roll up Monitor inventory and investigate/correct unusual items in inventory Monitor and review job cost study data and investigate/correct unusual items Assist Plant Controller in meeting plant objectives Assist with the monthly financial closing process Maintenance of general ledger and account reconciliations Communicate effectively with all levels of plant and administrative associates * Strong local leadership presence in production Ability to interpret and have a positive influence on operational results Strong working knowledge of Printpack systems and financial policies Printpack is proudly an equal-opportunity employer.
