We are searching for a talented Director, Hospital Operations Psychiatry

This position has oversight of all 3 Southcoast Heatlh hospitals.

Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.

Position reports to the Vice President of Operations, Medical & Specialty Care Center and collaborates with SPG/Southcoast Hospital Group (SHG) leadership. Perform diversified duties to support day-to-day operations of Behavioral Health (BH) services within SHG, including the inpatient and emergency room consultation services and social work services. Focuses on the provision of programs and practices consistent with the strategic vision of the organization. Responsible for the 24/7 operations and administrative oversight for departmental staff in hospital setting and the integration of services across the health system. Collaborate with other Directors of Operations to ensure coordination of BH service delivery, information technology, financial, strategic, talent management, quality and regulatory resources within Southcoast.

• A Bachelor's Degree in Health Care, Business Administration or other related field or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of inpatient, outpatient, clinical and administrative services, management information systems, financial principles including the ability to prepare and interpret budgets and financial reports, development of business plans for services and capital equipment, and regulatory and reimbursement issues required.
• A minimum of three (3) to five (5) years management and supervisory experience including departmental, service line and/or hospital/practice operations and administrative experience is required.
