ABOUT THE ROLE

The Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Specialist is a vital Accounting role and is designed to process transactions in AP via the ERP system and to assist in AR with collections, reconciliations and other assigned projects. The role will work to maintain a good relationship with all internal and external customers and suppliers. The Accounts Payable / Receivable Specialist will ensure the accuracy, efficiency, and timeliness of SC Johnson Professional's transactional Payables as well as collections of Receivables.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Accounts Payable:

1) Enter invoices for payment either through 3-way matching or obtaining approval signatures to process invoices that are non-PO related. Process employee expense reports for reimbursement.

2) Manage and process all intercompany invoices for accounts payable

3) Manage and process all monthly utility payments maintaining the check list.

4) Review and submit all vendor related master data changes including banking, address, contact information. Perform system verification of data set up and issue test payments in SAP.

Accounts Receivable:

5) Reconcile vendor statements, resolve price discrepancies, and respond to all vendor/employee inquiries.

6) Manage assigned large volume accounts in Accounts Receivable in relation to customer discrepancies, utilizing portal when needed.

7) Send assigned customer accounts statements monthly or as requested/required

8) Prepare posting for AR Specialist related to assigned accounts

9) Any other assigned tasks/reporting related to AR and AP assigned by management team.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE YOU'LL BRING

  • 5+ years' experience in a similar role

PREFERRED EXPERIENCES AND SKILLS

  • Associate's Degree in a related field
  • Exceptional organization skills, problem solving, research skills, with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to analyze and reconcile data using Microsoft excel which includes creating and navigating pivot tables, formulas, and VLOOKUP.
  • Collaborate with peers and other business partners.
  • Exceptional customer service skills, including verbal/phone and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in SAP, and Microsoft Office applications.

This position is onsite with the availability to work remote one day a week after 90 Days

This position is not eligible for relocation
