Has knowledge of aseptic technique. Performs functionaland safety inspections, assembles and disassembles orthopedic traction equipment and other equipmentused in patient care areas. Complies with departmental policies, abides by sanitation, safety,housekeeping and infection control. Observes and reports any unusual conditions. Participates in productrecalls. Provides effective and immediate response to customer requests.

Position: STAT Sterile Processing Tech
Shift: 3pm - 11:30pm

Experience:
Mimimum of 1 yr experience in instrument processing required

Education:
High school graduate or equivalent.
Must complete 10 hours of qualifying continuing education annually

Licensures/Certifications:
[Certified registered central service technician credential (CRCST) or certified sterile processing and
distribution technician credential (CSPDT) Required]
