Job Description

Exciting Opportunity at MSK: Licensing Manager

We are looking for an experienced technology transfer professional, a highly driven innovator engaged in the ecosystem of venture capital, corporate spinouts, and investments at the intersection of healthcare, pharma and information technology.

Role Overview:

    Lead strategic and transactional aspects of major tech transfer, IP licensing, and oncology accelerator programs.
  • Draft, negotiate, and execute contracts across diverse client engagements, merging early-stage and large pharma perspectives.Support companies across the capital lifecycle with deep industry expertise.
  • Identify, structure, and manage collaborations from initiation through completion.
  • Advance MSK's digital health capabilities through thought leadership and industry collaboration.
  • Manage and market MSK-owned technologies and patent portfolio, including outreach to industry partners and stakeholders
  • Collaborate with principal investigators to help advance research, maintaining consistent communication and strong relationships while monitoring progress.
  • Manage the full deal process, maintaining strong relationships with MSK and partner executive leadership.

Key Qualifications:

  • Extensive healthcare technology experience.
  • Direct contracting experience in tech transfer, IP licensing, mergers, acquisitions, or investments.
  • Program management expertise in complex, technical environments.
  • Proven judgment and excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Experience in healthcare/pharma startups, venture capital, or oncology-focused business development preferred.

Core Skills:

  • Proficiency in HealthIT and health informatics
  • Familiarity with RWE, biomarker discovery, and "omics"
  • Consulting experience good to have but not required

Additional Information:

  • Location: 2 times a week onsite at 633 Third Ave, New York, NY
  • Schedule: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM EST, Monday with Friday
  • Reporting to: Director, Digital Health
  • Pay Range: $131,800.00-$217,500.00
