Overview The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Clarkson University invites applications for a tenure track position at the Assistant Professor level. Candidates are sought who have research expertise that aligns with departmental strengths in software engineering. Our focus areas include software systems architecture and design, software testing and quality assurance, secure software development, software maintenance and evolution, artificial intelligence and machine learning. The position is available starting in January 2025. Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled. Clarkson University, New York State's highest ranked small research institution is located in Potsdam, New York, in the transition region between the St. Lawrence River Valley and the northern Adirondacks. Responsibilities * Teaching in the Electrical & Computer Engineering Programs Qualifications Minimum qualifications include a PhD in Software Engineering or related discipline. The candidate should have a demonstrated record of scholarly accomplishments in top tiered conferences and journals, a demonstrated ability or strong potential to secure external research funding, a strong commitment to excellence in teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate level, and effective communication and interpersonal skills.
