UVAFinance is seeking a Financial Analyst/Senior Financial Analyst to join the Office of the AVP of Finance & Controller for a two-year term, with the possibility of extension based on business needs and funding. This role provides critical support in ensuring accuracy, integrity, and compliance with accounting principles and university policies, as well as work on cross functional projects to implement industry best practices in operations, accounting, and internal controls. The Financial Analyst/Senior Financial Analyst will play a key role in supporting financial initiatives across UVA Finance by performing analysis, managing documentation, and supporting cross-functional collaboration and projects that drive process improvements and financial reporting enhancements. Anticipated Hiring Range for the Sr. Financial Analyst: $88K - $110k per year commensurate with education, experience, and internal equity. Anticipated Hiring Range for the Financial Analyst: $60K - $70k per year commensurate with education, experience, and internal equity. Eligible for UVA Benefits. This role reports to the Finance Manager within the Office of the University Controller. Hybrid or fully in-person options are available, with the requirement of at least 3 days in-the-office per week.
