Summary/Objective
Reporting to the Director of ROC Operations, the Warehouse Team Lead is responsible for leading the team in the recycling and salvage operations to meet goals and maintain effective support for stores. This position is also responsible for assisting the Supervisor(s) and/or Manager in the training and development of new leads and may be assigned a leadership role in additional responsibilities in the support of the operation.
Essential Functions

* Lead personnel in the daily completion of job duties and ensuring compliance to policies and procedures.
* Assist in the training and evaluation of ROC staff
* Ensures efficient and accurate recycling and/or baling of materials through the ROC
* Meet production numbers as set by divisional management
* Coordinate with Outlet to effectively rotate tables through the sales floor (maximize processing of inbound salvage product)
* Ensures loss prevention and process flow guidelines are followed
* Directs movement of materials and shipments of finished goods
* Directs the collection, baling and disposal of salvage material
* Ensures staff performs duties according to safety expectations and procedures
* Ensures the physical safety of the ROC area
* Communicates safety issues and concerns to ensure quick resolution
* Monitors use and wear of department equipment, reporting issues
* All other duties assigned by the Director of ROC Operations
Work Environment
This job operates in a warehouse environment.
Physical Demand
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This is a physical role. The employee must have the ability to communicate verbally and apply active listening skills, bend, squat, crawl, climb, reach, and stand as necessary. This role requires the ability to lift, carry, push, and pull medium weight up to 50 pounds. Requires activities involving being around moving machinery, exposure to marked change in temperature and humidity and exposure to dust.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work/Travel
This is a full-time, non-exempt position. Scheduled hours may vary and may include nights and weekends. Minimal travel to store locations may be required.
Qualifications
The Warehouse Team Lead will be a proven leader with the following:
* Effective leadership and conflict resolution skills
* Ability to motivate staff in performance of daily tasks
* Strong multi-tasking ability * Ability to document incidences appropriately
* Adaptability in performance of duties
* Working knowledge of product movement and a warehouse environment
* Commitment to mission of the organization
* Understanding of how the salvage and recycling processes support the mission
* Operate an electric pallet stacker and forklift with a warehouse safety background.
* The incumbent should have a minimum of 6 months experience in supervision
* High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
* Solid comfort level with utilizing all aspects of computers to complete the job, including but not limited to; Windows environment and internet use, On-line training and web-based meetings
