Overview Fort Lauderdale Hotel Opening in Fall 2025, Omni Fort Lauderdale will provide South Florida with 120,000 square feet of event space, new food and beverage options, a Natural Spring inspired full-service spa and entertainment pedestrian plaza featuring high-end shopping, amphitheater, charter boat docking and beautiful promenade. The new iconic landmark offers unforgettable views of the Atlantic paired with unrivalled convenience and intelligently designed meeting spaces. The hotel will be directly connected to the Broward County Convention Center, immediately adjacent to Port Everglades cruise terminal and less than two miles from Fort Lauderdale Airport. Job Description Omni Fort Lauderdale is seeking an organized and detailed Director, National Accounts to join the opening team of our brand-new luxury resort! The purpose of this role is to assist the Director of Sales and Director of Sales & Marketing in implementing strategies and tactics designed to maximize group revenue. Successful results are reflected in exceeding budgeted revenues and annual performance goals. This individual will work in collaboration with the Director of Sales and Director of Sales & Marketing to create a highly energized direct sales culture. Success is determined through improvement in the hotel's group revenue performance as compared to that of its defined competitors. This role handles the Midwest/Mid-Atlantic markets and has hybrid/relocation assistance eligibility (open to applicants looking to relocate to Fort Lauderdale, applicants living in Fort Lauderdale, and applicants located in-market in the Midwest/Mid-Atlantic) ***As part of the responsibilities for this position, you are expected to make regularly established property visits (minimum once every 60 days) and all pertinent site visits, pre/post cons, client events, event planning meetings, etc. pertaining to your assigned territory and/or account coverage, as requested by the DOSM Our ideal candidate has demonstrated consistent performance for a minimum of 7 - 10 years, exhibiting success in the Group Sales arena. While not in a supervisory role, this individual is a leader in performance and is aptly capable to represent Omni as a leader in the marketplace. Responsibilities
