Description

As a Foreperson, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations at a worksite to ensure the completion of projects in a safe and efficient manner. You will lead a team of equipment and cable placement operators to perform specific tasks, monitoring budgeting expenses, supplies or tools and reviewing internal policy and guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Lead the daily site construction work efforts to ensure the crew meets production goals safely
  • Read understand, interpret, input, and analyze production related data
  • Demonstrates leadership in health, safety and environmental protection on the project Applies the requirements of the Project Specific Safety Program (PSSP) to promote overall compliance of Ledcor HS&E standards, applicable OH&S / OSHA Acts, regulations and codes with all employees and subcontractors on the project

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years construction / telecommunications industry experience
  • 2 plus years supervisory experience
  • Hands on experience with Fiber Optic Cable
  • Experience with Aerial and Underground Instillation
  • Must successfully complete a criminal background check, pre-access drug and alcohol screenings
  • Must possess and maintain a clean driver's abstract and valid full-driver's license appropriate to the requirements of the vehicle being driven

Work Conditions:

  • Travel to various project sites throughout Oklahoma is required
  • Able to meet the physical requirements of the position which involves sitting, standing, bending, lifting (up to 50 pounds), and in all types of weather conditions (rain, snow, heat etc.)
