Key Job Responsibilities:

• Being part of an engineering, manufacturing, and business organization developing membrane-based gas separation solutions.

• Being part of a global organization developing gas separation membranes from concept to commercialization.

• Tapping into the wealth of technical experience available within Membrane Solutions and the opportunity to explore technical interests.

• Attending/participating in technical conferences.

• Applying analytical and critical thinking skills to develop creative solutions to address critical technical challenges.

• Working at our St. Louis, Missouri, office in a team of highly qualified engineers / technicians.

You will work closely with the Product Strategy, Applications Development, and Product Design teams to develop, execute, and communicate product development project plans and support Operations as needed.

Required Skills / Abilities:

• Maintaining workplace and laboratory safety in complete alignment with our Total Safety Philosophy.

• Work with a diverse team of scientists, engineers, and technicians to develop and advance new hollow fiber, and/or membrane products for diverse applications.

• Develop, lead, and drive pioneering research directions to develop cutting-edge new hollow fiber membrane products and improve existing products.

• Work with external partners to scale-up new materials for commercial utilization.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop solutions for technical challenges across various membrane applications.

• Stay current with evolving technologies and emerging development in the field through scientific literature and conferences/trade shows.

• Utilize safety tools as DHR, HAZOP, JSA etc.

Minimum Hiring Requirements:

• Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science or Related field , with a solid foundation in membrane-based gas separations.

• Experience with Liquid and Gas Membrane Separations is preferred.

• Communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work with and influence people with positivity from all cultures and at all organizational levels.

• Demonstrated record of productive and creative research through publications in peer-reviewed journals.

• Adept in laboratory techniques and equipment such as TGA, viscometer, SEM etc.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced development environment and ability to adapt to environment of change.
