Product Builder/ Packager I (Onsite)

Under direct supervision of a manufacturing manager/supervisor, perform specific manufacturing/packaging operations. Perform repetitive production assembly/testing tasks which can require positioning of small, delicate parts with precision. Ability to meet performance standards including line flow and output. Accurately recording component, process and other information on specified forms/logs.

Responsibilities:



  • Uses computer system for tracking, logging, verifying and reporting.
  • Follows best shipping practices and procedures, schedules, and requirements.
  • Receives incoming materials or prepares materials for shipment keeping accurate data records throughout all processes.
  • (Un) packs or (un)wraps items such as raw materials, assemblies, parts, supplies, equipment, etc.
  • Verifies quantities, documentation, and conformance of materials to stated identifications.
  • Logs receipt of items on system, processes all documentation in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Accurately fills order or material transfers, completing picking, shipping, and other documents.
  • Reports materials shipped and bills of lading.
  • Posts weight and shipping charges and routes merchandise to destinations.

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree



Work Experience



  • Previous Medical Device, preferred.



Professional Competencies

  • Knowledge of manufacturing operations and Supply Chain.

  • Microsoft Office
  • Proficient in Excel

  • SAP Background



Further Requirements:Required to reach with hands and arms. Prolonged periods of standing. Occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Ability to lift and move up to 40 pounds.

A minimum of 200Mb/sec download and 10Mb/sec upload speed internet connectivity is required to support any remote/hybrid employee functionality at Sonova

This role's pay range is between: $21.00hr. This role is also bonus eligible.
