Job Title: Senior Product Manager - CAE & Meshing Solutions

Location: Broomfield, CO (Hybrid)

About Spatial Corp:

Spatial Corp, a leader in 3D modeling technology, is seeking an experienced Product Manager with a strong background in Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) to join our dynamic team. We provide SDKs (software development kits) that enable customers to build advanced 3D applications across industries such as Manufacturing, Robotics, and Simulation. Our meshing SDKs - CSM, CVM, 3D Precise Mesh, and Meshgems - are essential to our technology offerings.

We are looking for a technically skilled product manager who can manage and support our meshing products for customers in the FEA (Finite Element Analysis) and CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) domains. The ideal candidate has coding experience, knowledge of meshing and CAD preparation for simulation, and familiarity with industry certifications. Familiarity with EDA (Electronic Design Automation) simulation tools is a plus.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Product Management:



    • Oversee Spatial's meshing products (CSM, CVM, 3D Precise Mesh, Meshgems), ensuring they meet market needs in the FEA and CFD domains.
    • Collaborate with engineering teams to define product roadmaps, prioritize features, and deliver high-value solutions.
    • Conduct market research and competitive analysis in the CAE industry to guide product strategy.
    • Identify opportunities for product enhancements and new features based on industry trends and technological advancements.



  • Technical Expertise:



    • Utilize coding skills to create initial demos showcasing product capabilities, which will be leveraged and enhanced by sales and marketing teams.
    • Bring deep knowledge of meshing processes, CAD preparation for meshing, and simulation post-processing, ensuring our products align with industry needs and workflows.
    • Stay updated on industry certifications and standards.



  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:



    • Work closely with internal teams including engineering, marketing, and technical sales to align product development with business goals.
    • Provide technical expertise to support marketing initiatives and sales enablement.
    • Assist in creating technical documentation and training materials for internal and external use.





  • Required Qualifications:


    • Advanced Engineering Degree:



      • Master's or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.



    • Technical Background:



      • Strong experience in CAE, specifically in meshing technologies and simulation workflows.
      • Proficiency in coding or programming languages usch as C++ and Javascript.
      • Knowledge of preparing CAD models for meshing and post-processing simulation results.



    • Industry Knowledge:



      • Familiarity with certifications and standards in the simulation industry.
      • Understanding of FEA and CFD applications and their challenges.



    • Professional Experience:



      • 8-10 yrs of professional experience with at least 3-5 years in technical roles such as Engineering, R&D, Simulation, or Software Development.
      • Experience transitioning into business-oriented roles like Product Management, Technical Marketing, or Business Development.



    • Communication Skills:



      • Excellent ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
      • Proven track record of collaborating across multidisciplinary teams.




    Preferred Qualifications:


    • EDA Experience:



      • Familiarity with EDA simulation tools (e.g., Cadence, Synopsys, Mentor Graphics).
      • Understanding of simulation workflows within the EDA industry.



    • Product Knowledge:



      • Experience with meshing SDKs such as Meshgems, CGAL, VKI, CEETRON, Simmetrix etc.
      • Note: Compensation for the role will be commensurate with experience. The total expected compensation range will be between $176k and $214K, representing the base salary (or annualized salary based on estimated hourly compensation) and target bonus

Dassault Systemes offers an excellent salary with potential for bonus, commensurate with experience.
