THE JOB: As a Banquet Supervisor, you will be responsible for the day to day operations of the catering events. You will also set the stage for guest experience with your welcoming smile and service. By understanding their unique stories and needs, you will own their experience to create WOW memories they will carry with them far and beyond their stay with us. THE STARTING RATE: $24.00 hourly plus gratuity THE DAY-TO-DAY:
- Review Upcoming Event Plans: Look at future schedules from the catering office to understand how busy things will get and plan the workload.
- Coordinate with Event Leaders: Meet with leaders of each event group to go over any last-minute changes and finalize event details.
- Provide Excellent Service During Events: Make sure everything runs smoothly and meets client expectations during the event.
- Order Supplies: Make sure materials, like food and equipment, are ordered and ready for each event.
- Track and Report Usage: Keep a record of everything used for the event-food, drinks, labor, and equipment.
- Prepare Reports: Write up reports and maintain detailed records for all events.
- Resolve Complaints: Handle any complaints from employees or guests and solve issues as they come up.
- Share Policies: Make sure employees know the rules and follow management policies.
- Inspect Event Spaces: Check rooms before the staff arrives to ensure everything is set up properly and equipment is ready.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
- 2+ Years prior relevant Banquet Supervisory experience
- Experience working in a Banquet setting
- Ability to lead and mentor a team
- Ability to work flexible hours

This is a commission-eligible position.
Should overtime be worked, employees are paid overtime pay in accordance with state requirements.
