You will provide proactive legal services to the corporation, its subsidiaries, and divisions to safeguard the corporation's rights and assets. You will ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and charter provisions that impact operations and policies. You will deliver effective legal representation, either directly or by retaining and supervising outside counsel, for the corporation. You will typically specialize in a specific area of corporate law such as product, mergers and acquisitions, financial transactions, employment/benefits law, etc. This role requires advanced legal knowledge and experience in highly visible, complex legal situations. You may lead projects or programs and provide guidance and mentoring to less experienced team members. You will report to a legal director.
In this flex office/home role, you will be expected to work a minimum of 10 days per month from one of the following office locations: Madison, WI 53783; Boston, MA 02110; Denver, CO 80112; Eden Prairie, MN 55343; Keene, NH 03431; St. Joseph, MO 64507; Phoenix, AZ 85034. #LI-Hybrid Internal candidates are encouraged to apply regardless of location and will be considered based upon the needs of the role.
