Our Molex facility in Caldwell, Idaho is seeking to add a 1st shift Cleanroom Operator Lead. This role will create value by overseeing the daily operations within the cleanroom environment, ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and quality regulations. This position will lead a team of cleanroom operators, manage workflows, ensure cleanliness and sanitation standards are maintained, and contribute to continuous process improvement.

Our Team

Our Operator team works in a controlled, enclosed cleanroom environment, with strict gowning and hygiene protocols. The team follows SOPs to assemble the Fiber Optics and operates a microscope to inspect product surfaces.

What You Will Do
* Oversee daily activities within the cleanroom, ensuring all operations are performed according to SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), quality guidelines, and safety regulations
* Lead, train, and mentor a team of cleanroom operators, ensuring efficient and effective workflow. Provide guidance and support to team members in troubleshooting and resolving issues
* Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory and industry standards including monitoring air quality, particulate counts, and overall cleanliness
* Identify opportunities for process improvements within the cleanroom environment. Assist in the implementation of best practices to enhance productivity and product quality
* Perform and/or supervise routine inspections and checks on equipment, materials, and finished products to ensure adherence to quality standards
* Maintain accurate records of cleanroom activities, including logs, batch records, and other relevant documentation. Ensure that all documentation is up-to-date and compliant with regulatory requirements
* Monitor the operation and maintenance of cleanroom equipment. Ensure proper usage of materials and inventory management within the cleanroom
* Respond to and address any issues or challenges within the cleanroom promptly, coordinating with other departments as necessary
* Conduct regular training sessions for new and existing cleanroom personnel on procedures, safety standards, and proper equipment handling
* The position may require shifts, weekends, or on-call availability depending on operational needs

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
* Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship
* At least 2 or more years of experience in a cleanroom environment
* Experience utilizing a computer for documentation
* Leadership experience in a manufacturing, industrial, military, or lab environment

What Will Put You Ahead
* Good manufacturing practices (GMP)
* Knowledge of cleanroom equipment, sterilization processes, and contamination control

This role is not eligible for VISA sponsorship.
