Military Flight Controls Division
Supporting aircraft worldwide, Parker Aerospace's Military Flight Controls Division (MFCD) provides primary and secondary flight control systems that make flight possible. Responsible for the supervision and coordination of the Shared Services Accounts Receivable function.
- Has Direct Reports
- Will have direct supervisory responsibility for the PSO and FCG Collections and cash application personnel.
- Will work with Corporate IT and Treasury department.
- Will report to the PSO Controller/Manager Shared Services Accounts Receivable.
- Evaluate requests to add customers to Shared Services Accounts Receivable collection. Maintain MICR number file at the corporate level for all cash inflows.
- Maintain customer name and address file.
- Audit credit memos in excess of $1,000 for appropriateness and accuracy.
- Supervise Central Collections department including:
- Maintain proper staffing levels to efficiently and effectively manage the central A/R function.
- Organize and assign workload amongst collectors.
- Assist collectors in addressing shipping and billing problems with PSC's, divisions, and Parker sales force.
- Monitor performance and provide regular performance evaluations.
- Support collectors when necessary to assist in resolving issues with customers.
- Prepare month end reports for Division, Group, and Corporate management. Coordinate with divisions to ensure proper set up of centrally collected customers. Respond to inquires from Division, Group, and Corporate management.
- Identify improvement opportunities in the collections and cash application functions that will benefit Shared Services A/R as well as Parker divisions.
- Work with Corporate I/T and Treasury to identify, define, and implement process improvements related to the corporate CARMS system and Parker's bank relationships with regard to cash receipt processing.
- Contact customers to help resolve process issues and properly define billing requirements for special customer programs.
- Participate in the Parker One initiative as it relates to billing and collections.
- Coordinate the roll out of Emagia Cash Inflow Manager software.
- Work closely with Corporate Credit Dept in reviewing customer payment performance and credit worthiness.
- Report and manage departmental performance metrics.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or a combination of associates degree and relevant experience.
- Three to five years experience in Accounts Receivable.
- Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Lotus Notes, Mainframe Applications.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent problem solving skills.

Please note that the salary range information is only applicable for California. Compensation is based on a variety of factors, candidate experience, qualifications, location as well as market and business considerations. Pay Range: $101,874/annually - $169,885/annually.
