THE JOB:
Asa Diver for Shark Reef Aquarium at Mandalay Bay, you are an essential part of guest experience. Your approachable, and personable demeanor, coupled with your dedication to ensuring the maintenance of the aquarium tanks and equipment, you will set the stage for the memories that guests can carry with them well past their stay with us.

THE STARTING RATE: $16.50

THE DAY-TO-DAY:

• Effectively clean and maintain aquarium tanks, exhibits and scuba equipment in accordance with aquarium standards

• Fill aquarium scuba air cylinders, run breathing air analysis tests and keep accurate records

• Perform duties in accordance with federal, state, local laws, regulations and ordinances as well as corporate and departmental policies, practices and procedures.

• Performs other job-related duties as requested

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

• Must be a minimum of 18 years of age

• Has a High School Diploma and proof of eligibility to work in the United States

• Has prior diving experience in an aquarium or confined water and a minimum of 10 logged open water dives

• Familiar with surface supplied diving, hookah line diving and full-face mask diving

• Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all business contacts
