SUMMARY

Mortenson is currently seeking a Project Manager that will provide overall leadership direction to a project; including the management of project quality, timeliness, safety, as well as mentoring the project team. Develop and enhance customer relationships by providing excellent service.

RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Manage the overall financial health of projects, including subcontracts and suppliers
  • Develop and maintain project financial projections and equipment projections
  • Determine and allocate project estimate into financial system
  • Create monthly owner billings
  • Maintain budget for and make selections of trade partners and suppliers
  • Handle billings and contract management, including contract buyouts
  • Lead Assistant Project Manager(s) and Project Engineer(s)
  • Provide job assignments and facilitate career development
  • Approve time cards for on-site team members
  • Provide ongoing feedback of work performance
  • Function as the main point of contact with the owner and on-site representative
  • Assist with the review of the owner agreement
  • Resolve site concerns for the owner or representative


QUALIFICATIONS



  • Bachelor's degree in Construction, Civil, or Architectural Engineering or Construction Management, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum six years of construction management or related experience
  • Current driver's license
  • Proven ability to fulfill development to closeout responsibilities for complex projects
  • Detail orientation sufficient to organize and manage multiple project tasks
  • Possess basic understanding of construction law and generally accepted business practices
  • Microsoft Office, project and pertinent web application skills at an intermediate level
  • Ability to interpret and communicate Mortenson policies
  • Active listening skills and effective communication including an openness to diverse input and feedback

The base compensation range for this role is the base pay range for this job is $110,700 - $166,100. (Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL - 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR - 10%, Washington, D.C. - 12.5%).
