Job Overview

The Adobe Platform Analyst supports the configuration, maintenance, and enhancement of Adobe Commerce Cloud. This role will be responsible for managing data strategy, platform configurations, incident resolution, and system upgrades. This role will be responsible for defining scalable, secure, and high-performance architectures, integrating with enterprise systems, and ensuring best practices for eCommerce, cloud infrastructure, and DevOps. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Adobe Commerce Cloud, microservices architecture, and cloud-based deployments, with a strong ability to collaborate across business and technical teams.

Key Job Responsibilities

  • Configure and maintain Adobe Commerce Cloud, ensuring platform stability and optimal performance.
  • Architect and design scalable Adobe Commerce Cloud solutions, ensuring performance, security, and flexibility.
  • Define and enforce best practices, coding standards, and DevOps strategies for Adobe Commerce implementations.
  • Lead the integration of Adobe Commerce with ERP, CRM, payment gateways, PIM, DAM, and third-party APIs.
  • Oversee multi-cloud and hybrid deployments, leveraging Azure, or Adobe Cloud Manager.
  • Implement headless commerce architectures, working with GraphQL, REST APIs, and front-end frameworks (React, Vue.js, or Angular).
  • Develop scalable microservices-based solutions for personalization, inventory management, and customer engagement.
  • Define data strategies, workflows, and automation to streamline product catalogs, order management, and customer experiences.
  • Lead performance tuning efforts, optimizing caching strategies, database performance, and load balancing.
  • Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (IaC), and DevOps practices for Adobe Commerce.
  • Ensure compliance with security standards (PCI DSS, GDPR) and Adobe Commerce security best practices.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, product managers, and development teams to align technology with eCommerce goals.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues, ensuring reliability and scalability.
  • Implement disaster recovery, backup strategies, and incident response plans for platform resilience

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in Adobe Commerce (Magento 2) development.
  • Strong expertise in Adobe Commerce Cloud, Magento 2, and cloud-native architectures.
  • Hands-on experience with GraphQL, REST APIs, and headless commerce implementations.
  • Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, Elasticsearch, and modern caching strategies (Varnish, Redis).
  • Experience with containerized development environments (Docker, Kubernetes, Podman).
  • Deep understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Adobe Cloud Manager) for scalable deployments.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps automation, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation).
  • Experience integrating ERP, CRM, and payment processing systems within Adobe Commerce.
  • Strong understanding of eCommerce security, PCI compliance, and identity/access management.
  • Hands-on experience with monitoring and alerting tools (New Relic) to proactively identify and resolve issues.
  • Strong expertise in eCommerce functionalities, including payment and shipping methods, checkout processes, cart management, Product Information Management (PIM) and inventory management,
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
  • Strong communication skills, able to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Hiring Range

At Komatsu, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. This role pays $95,000-$120,000.The actual offer will consider a wide range of factors, including experience and location.
