Position Summary: Director BH Patient Care Initiatives

Responsible for carrying out initiatives that support the mission and goals of Trauma Informed Care and key clinical excellence objectives within the Behavioral Health Division. Designs, implements, and leads the execution of ongoing education and training strategies. Drives sustainability of initiatives by collaborating with key stakeholders to effectively prioritize objectives, identify critical needs, and develop relevant success measures.

Essential Job Duties Responsibilities:

  • Develop short-term and long-term strategies and action plans to successfully execute the adoption and sustainability of Trauma Informed Care principles throughout the BH division
  • Supports Trauma Informed Care training; provide direction to trainers regarding Trauma Informed Care objectives
  • Assist with remediating operational challenges related to Trauma Informed Care
  • Identifies priorities related to facility visits, education needs, and organizing all materials and logistics related to the initiative.
  • Identify and develop regional trainers
  • Develop process to communicate progress and gain insight from key stakeholders
  • Promotes the connection of the UHS Service Excellence culture and Trauma Informed Care patient care philosophy.
  • Performs other duties as assigned/required by this position.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree required, Master's Degree preferred.
  • 5-8 years related experience required, 8-10 preferred.
  • Knowledge of Trauma Informed Care principles.
  • Experience with oversight of large-scale initiatives towards clinical transformation.
  • Clinical Degree required with facility based experience to understand overall healthcare operations.
  • Travel up to 50%
