Clinical Technician 1 - Pediatric Medical Surgical Unit with Inova Fairfax Medical Campus

Full-time | Rotation: Days & Nights | Shift: Days Vary, 6AM - 6:30PM & 6PM - 6:30AM|

Three (3), 12-hr shifts per week | Rotating Weekends & Holidays.

The Pediatric Medical Surgical Unit with renowned Inova Fairfax Medical Campus is seeking a dedicated and loyal Clinical Technician to join the team in a full-time / part time / PRN capacity!

Your shifts will be from 6AM - 6:30PM & 6PM - 6:30AM with rotating.

Clinical Technician Job Responsibilities (to include but not limited to)

• Provides direct care to patients under direct supervision of registered nurse.

  • Blood Draws
  • IV Insertion
  • Catheter / Foley insertion
  
  
• Effectively communicates with team members, patients, and visitors.
• Maintains professionalism and integrity throughout the healthcare system.

Requirements:

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association within 90 days of hire
• Special Skills: Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift minimum of 35lbs pounds
• Training: Must be available for six (6) weeks of paid training, consisting of,

• Experience: Prior experience in healthcare, preferred.
