Clinical Technician Job Responsibilities (to include but not limited to)
- Provides direct care to patients under direct supervision of registered nurse.
- ADLs
- Blood Draws
- IV Insertion
- Catheter / Foley insertion
- Effectively communicates with team members, patients, and visitors.
- Maintains professionalism and integrity throughout the healthcare system.
Requirements:
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: One year of experience in an acute care setting as a clinical technician or successful completion of one acute care clinical rotation in an Accredited RN Program and/or two years of nursing school completed
- Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association within 90 days of hire
- Special Skills: Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English
- Training: Must be available for six (6) weeks of paid training, consisting of,
- Virtual modules
- Classroom-style sessions: 8AM - 4:30PM
- On-unit training with department hired into (times TBD)
- Experience: Prior experience in healthcare, preferred.
