The primary focus of this role is to cultivate a vibrant and engaging community for Independent Living residents by developing and implementing wellness and lifestyle programs that foster socialization, engagement, and a sense of belonging. The individual in this position is responsible for planning, coordinating, and promoting a variety of resident events, ensuring active participation and continuous improvement through resident feedback. This role will assist the sales team to help meet occupancy goals.

Roles and Responsibilites:

• Creates a sense of community among the Independent Living residents through wellness and lifestyle programs, which provide opportunities for socialization, engagement, and contribution.
• Plans, coordinates, communicates, and encourages participation for Independent Living Resident events.
• Solicits input and involves the residents in continued development of the lifestyle through feedback and future planning.
• Recruits, trains, organizes, plans volunteers specifically for the Independent Living residents.
• Maintains active participation and seeks appointment to at least one committee of a community organization (e.g. Realtor Association, Senior Citizen support service).
• Maintains a wide-variety of public and private contacts to develop and promote positive public relations for teh campus; including not-for-profit organizations, service clubs, professional organizations, etc.
• Supervises Independent Living move in process.
• Arrangs and conducts tours in partnership with the campus back-up team.
• Assists sales efforts as assigned by the Director of Sales.
• Other Duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education: Associate Degree

Experience: 1-3 years

Licenses and Certifications:

Valid Drivers License.

Physical Requirements:

Sitting, standing, bending, reaching, stretching, stooping, walking, and moving intermittently during working hours. Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. Must be able to maintain verbal and written communication with co-workers, supervisors, residents, family members, visitors, vendors, and all business associates outside of the health campus.
