About the Job:

The position of Customer Service Coordinator will have primary responsibility to provide high-level support by assisting customers, both internal and external, and providing accurate data entered in all necessary systems.

In This Role, You Will:

* Manage heavy call and email volume in a professional and timely manner
* Administer elevated service programs including customer reporting and communication processes for specific customers
* Assists internal and external customers with information or document requests
* Partners with the sales team to meet and exceed customer service expectations
* Assists in maintaining and monitoring electronic data for customers
* Operates inventory control, word processing, and spreadsheet applications for customers
* Generates correspondence to secure additional customer information to resolve customer disputes
* Responsible for regular attendance and promptness
* Assists other departments as needed
* All other duties and projects as assigned.

* 1+ years of customer service experience in an office environment with emphasis in transportation or freight forwarding preferred
* Ability to type minimum of (40) words per minute, 10-key by touch and a high level of accuracy is required
* Moderate to advanced knowledge of customer service practices
* Strong attention to detail
* Ability to assist in all areas of warehouse and administrative operations
* Proficient computer skills and in-depth knowledge of relevant software such as MS Outlook, Excel and Word
* Knowledge of standard office administrative practices and procedures
* Willing and able to work with all personality types in a professional, effective manner
* Ability to multitask and perform well in a fast-paced, fluid environment where tasks change quickly
* Adapt to new processes quickly and streamline current processes as necessary
* Analytical ability is desired
* Bilingual preferred, English/Spanish
* Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
* Must have the ability to proficiently read, write and speak the English language
* Have the ability to effectively communicate, present information, and respond to questions from colleagues, customers and the general public
* Must know how to communicate effectively for instruction and/or guidance verbally and in writing
* Must have the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of situations professionally
* Must have the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions
* Must be able to successfully complete Hazardous Materials Training

This is an in-office role based in Fullerton, CA

As required by applicable Pay Transparency laws, Odyssey provides a range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired in locations under these requirements. Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include a wide array of factors, including: your specific skills and experience, geographic location, or other relevant factors. The salary range for this position may be lower or higher in different markets.

The base pay range for this position is: $16.83 - $21.04 per hour.
