Know Your Rights: https://www.eeoc.gov/sites/default/files/2022-10/EEOC_KnowYourRights_screen_reader_10_20.pdf Responsibilities The Regional Manager of Spiritual Care has is responsible for the Spiritual Care Department within the designated region and is responsible for management, leadership, and administration of the work of chaplains, training of chaplains, staff care and support, continuing pastoral education, and clinical pastoral education programs, in partnership with the Regional Director of Spiritual Care. This department is responsible for the management and quality of religious and spiritual care of the patients, families, and their visitors, as well as hospital staff members. This position collaborates closely with various levels of management within the senior leadership of the facilities to successfully manage all chaplaincy and administrative staff personnel of the assigned region's hospitals. This position also partners with the Chief Experience Officer, Hospital Chief Executive Officers, Regional Director of Spiritual Care to create opportunities to influence the mission and integration of ethical values into patient care delivery and to align spiritual care with site culture and goals. The Spiritual Care department is also required to consistently round on patients and staff to find opportunities for improvement and recognition with the goal of improving staff retention and patient experience. Responsible for staffing chaplains at the assigned hospitals within Prime Healthcare recruiting, monitoring, orientation, staffing, assess competency, performance evaluation, and controlling the comprehensive, integrated resources for spiritual care for the hospitals or clinics. Provides oversight for the planning and implementation of educational opportunities for chaplains and supervision of any students or volunteers who may work and learn in the department. Prepares and reports appropriate data to Prime Healthcare leadership to monitor performance and progress of key initiatives and plans. Develops, implements, and evaluates pastoral education programs including clinical pastoral education, supervised ministry, advanced clinical pastoral education, and community clergy educational programs. Provides leadership specific to the Hospital Emergency Incident Command System relative to the role of psychosocial support leader and mobilization of spiritual care services. Performs related responsibilities as required. Qualifications EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING 1.
