Primary Purpose of Position |
This is a full-time Postdoc position to carry out fundamental research towards sustainable plasma-catalytic conversion of CO2-containing CH4 to valuable feedstock, funded by
DOE-
FECM. |

The department offers a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry, Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education (Chemistry Education), Master of Science in Chemistry, and a concentration in Chemistry under the College's PhD Program in Applied Science Technology.
The Department of Chemistry consists of 13 full-time tenure track faculty to support the excellence in teaching and research. The Chemistry program is approved by the American Chemical Society (
ACS). The undergraduate enrollment currently has approximately 100 Chemistry majors and the graduate enrollment averages 20 students. |
Minimum Requirements |
The employee will have already acquired a Ph.D. or equivalent acceptable degree and should be able to exercise scientific judgment on a day-to-day basis. He or she will evaluate incoming information in the form of experimental data and observations, written literature documentation, and oral communications, and will use this information to make judgments about what steps will next lead to progress in the project. |
