DESCRIPTION OF WORK

A County Casework Supervisor, is a professional supervisory position within the Early Intervention Unit of The Lebanon County Mental Health/Intellectual Disability/Early Intervention (MH/ID/EI) Program. You will be directly responsible for the work of caseworkers and for the quality of services provided. Work includes ensuring the provision of Early Intervention services are provided to children from birth to three (3) years of age and their families in accordance with the individualized Family Service Plan. This position is responsible for reviewing caseloads, interviewing candidates for positions, as well as participating in meetings on a weekly basis. You will have the opportunity to provide supportive counseling or other appropriate case management services to a caseload of individuals with developmental delays. Additional responsibilities include, but may not be limited to:
- Developing and implementing in-service training activities
- Preparing unit status reports
- Interpreting the case management program to the community

- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Two years of professional experience in public or private social work and a bachelor's degree with major course work in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or other related social sciences; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and education which includes 12 college credits in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or other related social sciences.

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Legal Requirements:
- This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law.
- Under the Law, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports including, but not limited to, PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse history clearance, and FBI Fingerprint clearance.
