We're hiring for a Construction Project Manager to join our Corporate Services team in coordinating and managing construction projects to deliver finished spaces or buildings that align with our objectives and requirements.

The ideal candidate for this position will have the technical knowledge and expertise in construction means & methods as well as a strong background in project management for developing and advising on project plans and details.

What You'll Do

As the Construction Project Manager, you'll develop project plans and participate in construction plan presentations to leadership, ensuring all key components of the project are conveyed clearly. In addition, you'll:

  • Manage daily operations of assigned construction projects ensuring adherence to organizational standards, business objectives, key milestones, and external requirements

  • Collaborate across various teams to ensure deliverables are tracking on time and within budget

  • Identify and resolve concerns and needs for timely resolution

  • Foster and maintain relationships with our business stakeholders and executives, providing regular updates on construction progress and next steps

  • Serve as main point of contact for external vendors and subcontractors, providing direction on construction plans

  • Conduct job site visits to inspect progress, scheduling updates, and adherence to workforce requirements

What it Takes

  • Bachelors Degree in Construction Management, Construction Engineering, Construction Technologies; or equivalent work experience.

  • 5+ years of related work experience

  • Experience in construction project management or project engineering

  • Prior experience providing guidance and direction to subcontractors

  • Ability to read and understand plans, specification, and scopes of work

  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships

  • Planning, project management, and organizational skills

  • Ability to manage multiple items, prioritize effectively, and react to change orders

  • Time management and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record with a valid driver's license and ability to meet travel requirements (approximately 10% to our field offices).
