We're seeking a future team member for the role of Senior Vice President, Full-Stack Engineer to join our Conventional Debt team. This role is located in Lake Mary, FL or Pittsburgh, PA - HYBRID (3 days a week) Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Full Stack Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both front-end and back-end development, with expertise in Core Java and Advanced Java, Spring Framework, Microservices, Angular, and DevOps practices. This role requires a developer who is proficient in using various tools and technologies, including Git for version control, Oracle and SQL databases, Unix, HTML, unit testing, Docker, container orchestration, and application engine deployments. In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
- Develop and maintain scalable and robust full-stack applications using Core Java and Advanced Java.
- Design, develop, and test applications using the Spring Framework, including Spring MVC and Spring Boot.
- Implement and manage Microservices architecture for efficient and effective service delivery.
- Create dynamic and responsive front-end applications using Angular.
- Collaborate with the DevOps team to ensure seamless integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) of applications.
- Utilize version control systems like Git to manage codebase and ensure code integrity.
- Conduct database development and management using Oracle and SQL databases.
- Perform Unix-based server management and scripting tasks.
- Implement HTML for creating web interfaces and enhancing user experience.
- Execute unit tests to ensure code quality and reliability (TDD experience).
- Deploy applications using Docker containers and manage application deployments on various application engines.
- Work with development environments such as Eclipse, IntelliJ, and SQL Developer or DBeaver for efficient coding and debugging.
- Use Ansible for automation of deployment and configuration management tasks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the full stack.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and technologies relevant to full-stack development.
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in Core Java and Advanced Java.
- In-depth knowledge of the Spring Framework (Spring MVC, Spring Boot).
- Experience with Microservices architecture and design patterns.
- Proficiency in front-end development using Angular.
- Solid understanding of DevOps principles and practices.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle and SQL databases.
- Familiarity with Unix-based systems and shell scripting.
- Proficiency in HTML and web interface development.
- Experience with unit testing frameworks and practices.
- Knowledge of Docker, container orchestration, and application engine deployments.
- Experience in addressing and fixing security vulnerabilities like SQL Injection, XSS, and CSRF.
- Proficiency in using development environments like Eclipse, IntelliJ, and SQL Developer or DBeaver.
- Knowledge of Ansible for automation tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
