Job Title: Call Center Customer Service Representative
Location: Melville, NY Schedule: Full time Monday-Friday 9AM-5PM PERMANENT Job Description: * Set appointments via inbound and outbound calls from our Call Center. * Update patient demographics and pre-register in EPIC (training will be provided). * Capture, enter, and report data accurately to management. * Ensure services are provided in a timely manner and key performance indicators are met. * Report discrepancies and identify areas of improvement to supervisors. * Work on special projects and assignments as needed. * Interact with patients in a supportive, caring manner providing exemplary customer service. * Follow scripts when provided and utilize professional terminology while avoiding slang. * Notify management of problems with phone or EPIC systems both in Melville or at the Clinic level. * Utilize Cisco Systems/EPIC programs in an effective and efficient manner. * Ensure all internal customers (co-workers, other departments, supervisors, etc.) receive personalized, prompt attention. *Qualifications:* * High School Diploma or GED required. * One to five years of call center, office, or customer service support experience. * Excellent computer and typing skills required. * Must demonstrate good oral, listening, and written communication skills in English and, if applicable, in Spanish or another second language. * Ability to multitask, learn and assimilate new information, and adapt to practice changes quickly. * Exceptional organizational skills. * Must be able to sit at a computer for extended periods and use headsets for communicating with incoming and outgoing phone calls.
