Job Summary

The Analyst of Supplier Performance is responsible for a specific Supply Chain strategic initiative, including strategy and framework, and for effectively assessing and managing the initiative. This role will assist the organization in the identification, classification, measurement and monitoring of the initiative. This role will work closely with strategic sourcing, and other functional partners. Specific span and responsibility outlined in addendum.

The Recall and Defect Coordinator has the responsibility to partner with Corewell Health teams and suppliers to effectively manage product recalls and product defect notifications. The primary focus of this work will be to manage product defects, including building a repeatable process and expanding scope across the full Corewell Health system.

Essential Functions
  • Lead the design and deployment of a system-wide framework in your initiative. Maintain this framework and update to new guidelines and initiatives. Ensure alignment of framework to organizational goals and objectives
  • Work with Procurement and relationship-owners to develop, deploy and maintain plan for appropriate oversight.
  • Build organizational awareness; become sought out expert in area of responsibility
  • Oversee the ongoing program management which includes annual goal setting, KPI's, and annual program planning
  • Coordinate and help deliver education and training programs for your scope of responsibility to the business units
  • Actively engage and participate in working groups among stakeholders
  • Develop program assessment protocols for evaluation and improvement
  • Provide reporting and analysis and communicate the results of the analysis to leadership in a clear and comprehensive way
  • Administer product issue response inclusive of the following actions: initial risk triage, researching product use, coordinate sorting and quarantining inventory, system communication, facilitating response
  • Partner with Corewell Health Recall Coordinator to effectively manage product recalls impacting Corewell Health
Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelor's Degree preferably in Business, Finance, or Supply Chain
  • 5 years of relevant experience within a regulated industry (auditing, compliance, procurement, etc.)
