Position Summary: Admissions Center Manager

Directly supervises the day-to-day activities of Admissions Coordinators. Evaluates individual performance metrics and holds team accountable for goals, selling techniques, and overall behavior. Provides coaching, handles difficult or escalated issues. Develops reports and dashboards to monitor team and individual performance against performance goals. Sources, recruits, hires, and provides corrective action for team members. Evaluates and coordinates workflow and activities to ensure key performance indicators are met and exceeded when possible

Essential Job Duties:

  • Directly manages assigned employees day to day needs and in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include planning, assigning and directing work; addressing complaints, resolving problems and providing corrective action and counseling when needed.
  • Maintains relationship with facility staff and is a main point of contact to resolve admission related issues.
  • Works with VOB team and Operations team to remove barriers to admissions.
  • Monitors productivity of staff through constant presence on the floor as well as through analysis of data available.
  • Monitors on daily basis (at a minimum), individual, team, and Admissions Center results to quickly identify and act on both positive and negative performance trends to ensure attainment of admission goals and performance targets.
  • Facilitates Team meetings monthly to drive and support ongoing initiatives.
  • Engage in one-on-one coaching sessions with individual team members monthly to address needs and provide direction according to established goals.
  • Monitors live or recorded calls for coaching purposes.
  • Reviews dashboards, reports and other data. Provides recommendations to management on improvements.
  • Ensures scheduling demands are met and all shifts are adequately covered. Works with colleagues to manage schedule switches and time edits.
  • Rotating Weekend on-call responsibilities to ensure there is adequate admission coordinator coverage and to support the operation team on any urgent admission coordinator issues.
  • Communicates and follows up to ensure employees are fully informed of all new information related to services available, policies/procedures, client needs, company related issues, changes, or actions.
  • Takes a creative approach to problems and regularly proposes ideas for process improvement.
  • Maintains harmony among staff and creates a team environment that rewards and recognizes positive performance.
  • Facilitates onboarding and training of new Admission Coordinator staff.
  • Available to answer calls when necessary during your assigned shift.

Qualifications

Education/Experience:

Technical School/2 year degree required, Bachelor's Degree preferred

1 year related experience required, 1-3 years preferred

Core Work Schedule:

Monday through Friday 3pm-11:30 pm

Skills:

  • 3 years of inside sales and industry experience preferred.
  • Prior management experience preferred.
  • Possesses a strong working knowledge of Patient's Rights.
  • Demonstrates knowledge of essential sales skills and is able to teach those skills to their team.
  • Must have a strong working knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing, spreadsheets, and database, (MS Word, Excel and CRM).
