UVa Housing & Residence Life (HRL) is seeking a Program Coordinator (PC) for a student facing role within Residence Life to help meet current challenges, achieve our strategic initiatives, and bring the University's 2030 plan to fruition. Working within a newly expanded staffing plan, the Program Coordinator will focus on our academic engagement program and our wider residential programming, to enhance the on-Grounds residential experience. This is a newly created position, which is directly supervised by the assistant dean for academic engagement and residential programming.

Residential environments encompass a diverse array of building styles including traditional residence halls, apartment complexes, townhouses, and single-family homes. Program Coordinator duties and responsibilities: In collaboration with the assistant dean, the PC will work towards developing and growing our academic engagement program and wider residential programming model, both of which enhance the residential experience as outlined in the University's 2030 plan.

About the Position This is an in-person, live-off position, located in Charlottesville, Virginia. The Housing & Residence Life office business hours are Mon-Fri: 8am-5pm. To support program needs, evening and weekend work may be required on occasions. Temporary housing may be available to the successful candidate to help navigate a potential relocation to the area. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings and programs. The anticipated start date for this position is July 2025.
