Do you have proven experience in production control and are ready to join a winning team? Staffmark is hiring an experienced Production Control Specialist in La Vergne, TN, for the nation's largest manufacturer and distributor of wireless accessories with the broadest product offerings and services for all distribution channels. Our client has experienced 30 years of success and is welcoming new talent to join their collaborative and innovative team!

Pay: $22 per hour

1st Shift Hours: 7 AM - 5:30 PM, Monday-Thursday (Yes, a 4-day work week!)

Essential Functions:



  • Ensuring customer orders are shipped on time and managing the past due list effectively.
  • Assisting in following and managing the Short Pick process in the Warehouse Execution System and Microsoft Teams.
  • Ensuring all paperwork for the Operations Team is digitally scanned and saved to appropriate locations on the shared drive.
  • Plan wave releases.
  • Creating and maintaining load plans for the Production Team.
  • Scheduling pickups and exception requests for deliveries.
  • Create and maintain Logistics statistics and reporting.

Requirements:



  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Proven experience in production control, planning logistics, using/teaching/training a Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Transportation Management System (TMS), with measurement of performance goals and standards/metrics, and analyzing data.
  • Knowledge of Bill of Materials (BOM) and inventory tracking.
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent detail orientation and organization, communication, time management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to stand for 10+ hours and lift 25 pounds.
