Production Shift Manager Gainesville, FL Day Shift, Monday-Friday Position Overview The Shift Manager reports to the Plan Manager and has primary responsibility for managing all production-related activities. Accountable for meeting plant production, safety, quality and employee engagement objectives. Direct supervision responsibility of 5 employees, indirect responsibilityof 3 additional. Primary Responsibilities Taking on this position some of your responsibilities will include; maintain all H.B. Fuller quality and safety programs, collaborate with the plant manager and plant leadership team to establish annual goals and objectives for the facility and to manage the team in accordance with H.B. Fuller policies, practices, procedures, and programs. The Shift Manager also participates in and may lead "all-hands" activities such as machine setup, teardown, cleaning and reassembly to help ensure safety and reduce maintenance and process upset downtime. The shift manager is the owner of product quality made under his direction and supervision. As Shift Manager, you will be fully engaged with our standards and will have the ability to assist in the growth of the company while being a leader through collaboration. Minimum Requirements To be considered you must have a High School diploma coupled with 5+ years of external related production experience, of which 3+ years at a supervisory level in a manufacturing plant; or B.S. in a technical discipline with a 1+ years of manufacturing internship experience. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, and geographic location. The salary for this role is $75K/year and up based on experience.In addition to your salary, H.B.
