The Opportunity As a Principal Research Engineer/Scientist, you will provide technical mentorship to a highly collaborative team of imaging scientists, software developers, and scientists in medicine and biology to solve image and data analysis problems in the field of Digital Pathology. You will initiate, direct, and execute research and development activities for technology assessment, internal project collaborations, and commercial medical devices. Make strategic decisions and provide direction for the team's R&D activities in the field of artificial intelligence, image processing, machine learning, pattern recognition, and data mining. The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of California is $138,600 - $257,400. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance. This position also qualifies for the benefits detailed at the link provided below.
