The Senior Revenue Growth Management Analyst will lead and oversee the RGM analyst team in designing, executing, and maintaining reporting and analysis related to sales planning, trade promotion management, and revenue growth management activities within the sales organization. In this role, the Senior RGM Analyst will guide the analyst team in identifying opportunities within customer P&Ls including but not limited to: trade promotions, mix management, trade damages, and markdowns. The Senior Analyst will also be responsible for all aspects of elasticity analysis including developing scenario planning models. The Senior Analyst will also oversee the design of reports to be used cross functionally, at multiple times in the planning cycle, and at a variety of levels of the organization.

Scope of Responsibilities

Supports Annual Customer Planning Activities



  • Communicate Bottoms Up Planning process including:

    • Communicating timeline & process to Sales via emails & presentations.
    • Deploying Planning Guidance


  • Oversee analytics team in forecasting and reconciling gaps:

    • Bottom-up plan and budget by creating, updating, & communicating reports


  • Build Content for Sales Plan Dialogue meeting

    • Lead the preparation of content & meeting templates to guide productive discussion





Analyzes Sales Trade Spending Activities



  • Lead the team in improving, executing, and communication of analytics related to Sales Spend budget in the organization. Including:

    • Track and enforce trade promotion policies (net net price, promoted pricing, maximum weeks on promotion, etc.)
    • Provide guidance on event ROI criteria, facilitate evaluation of promotions & incremental trade spending proposals
    • Project sales trade spend liability at key financial milestones (LE, Budget, Full Year Results)





Oversee the development, implementation, and integration of Revenue Growth Management tools and reporting with a focus on driving improvement in Net Trade Sales and Gross Profit.



  • Develop and Maintain RGM Reporting/Dashboards, primarily within PowerBI
  • Leverage insights from elasticity analyses, trade promotion ROI's, and category post-event evaluation to aid in sales' planning
  • Evaluate base and promoted pricing strategy and use findings to inform channel pricing strategy.
  • Monitor and report on category dynamics including pricing, promotion, and portfolio across key customers.

Specific Knowledge & Skills

  • BA/BS Degree Required
  • Master's Degree preferred
  • 3-5 years of analytical experience
  • 3-5 years working within Sales Reporting and Trade Systems
  • Preferred experience implementing and optimizing trade promotion management and/or optimization software
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong financial acumen
  • Highly proficient in: Microsoft Office Suite (especially PowerQuery, PowerBI, and Excel)
  • Experience in R and/or Python preferred
  • Demonstrated leadership and results orientation
  • Effective interpersonal and collaboration style to work across departments and levels of the organization
  • Lead/oversee complex quantitative analyses
  • Strong time management and self-organization skills to manage competing and changing priorities
  • Ability to effectively manage conflicting demands and recommendations among departments in the organization
  • Unquestionable integrity
  • Business knowledge of Ghirardelli's channels of trade/industry
  • Syndicated data expertise
