Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Associate Scientist to join our dynamic Research & Development team. You will work closely with senior scientists to conduct experiments, analyze data, and contribute to the development of new products, processes and improvement of analytical methodologies.

What You'll Do as an Associate Scientist I:

  • Work under the guidance of senior staff to accomplish project specific tasks in the R&D department.
  • Develop experience in the operation of analytical instruments.
  • Conduct routine testing and assist with non-routine testing.
  • Prepare data for reports and make recommendations for further studies.
  • Write study protocols and reports with guidance from senior staff.
  • Conduct research on given topics and report findings.
  • Work in a diverse team environment.

The Experience, Skills, and Abilities Needed:

Required:



  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, biochemistry, or a related STEM field.
  • 0-3 years of experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)


Preferred:



  • Experience in a regulated environment (e.g., FDA, ISO) is a plus.
  • Experience with endoscopy equipment or reusable medical devices is a plus.
  • Proficiency in at least one of the following analytical methods: HPLC, FTIR, SEM, XRF, ICPMS, AAS, Titration.

Pay range for this opportunity is$54,500.00-$76,125.00.This position is eligible for bonus participation.

Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed. Pay rates are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to local labor market costs, years of relevant experience, education, professional certifications, foreign language fluency, etc.
