We are looking for a Product Commercialization Engineer to support the commercialization of Trex developed products from pilot to full scale production. As a Trex Product Commercialization Engineer, you will be ensuring that company objectives are being achieved, innovation and renovation pipelines are being executed on time and products are economically and feasibly manufacturable. This role is a key member of our Research & Development team.

RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Create/ensure/promote a safe and environmentally responsible work environment.
  • Lead and support teams in the commercialization of new products from design freeze to market launch.
  • Adopt a cross-functional, multi-organizational perspective on commercialization to identify requirements, best practices, and areas for improvement. Document and synthesize information to recommend enhanced processes for faster, more agile product development.
  • Create project timelines to ensure accountability and escalate challenges as needed.
  • Proactively and clearly communicate development milestones to key stakeholders and project teams.
  • Engage with external technical resources to build and manage relationships.

Travel Requirements: Domestic travel up to 25% annually can be expected for this role.

EXPERIENCE

Required:



  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related field.
  • 4+ years product development, commercialization, and manufacturing experience with a record of commercially successful product launches.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
  • Must be 18 years or older and legally permitted to work in the United States.


Preferred:



  • CPG industry experience desired.
  • 2+ years of experience managing project teams.



BASE SALARY RANGE: $95,000-$130,000 annually

The salary range provided serves as a general guideline for potential compensation for this position. It reflects the base salary and does not account for other benefits or additional compensation opportunities that may apply. This role is also eligible for further compensation through an annual and/or sales bonus, in addition to the base salary.

At Trex, individual base salaries are determined based on various factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location. We are committed to maintaining pay equity and consider the internal equity of our existing team members when finalizing compensation offers.
