GENERAL FUNCTION
Develop & engage team to educate business partners around the Talent Acquisition processes for Doctors of Optometry (OD), both employed and sublease. Partner with all Luxottica Optical Brand leadership to collaborate & formulate consensus to drives business results. Identify Optical Brands' objectives & drive strategic process methodology that will help to achieve business results.
MAJOR DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead, manage & develop direct reports
- Recruit & manage a geographic area
- Present key metrics, strategy plans & outcomes to business partners
- Collaborate across the business (Sublease administration, Credentialing, Onboarding, etc.) to maximize OD satisfaction
- Collaborate with Regional Team & Eye Care Directors to create & deliver a comprehensive, compelling & balanced affiliation; differentiate Luxottica's affiliation/offer from others
- Demonstrate in-depth awareness of employment laws & industry regulations by state; know when to engage Legal or key business partners for support
- Build & sustain long-term & meaningful OD relationships
- Support & develop the EyeCare COE image
- Raise the aligned business segments collective knowledge on talent acquisition
- Communicate proven & emerging best practices to business leaders, hiring manager & recruiters
- Apply financial, data analysis, & advanced technical knowledge to forecast & analyze needs to create long-term goals
- Remain well versed in the value & employment proposition & articulate that proposition(s) both verbally & in writing
- Manage budget & all reporting for region(s)
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent & either:
- Seven (7) years of recruiting experience or
- 5 years of recruiting experience & 5 years of Optometry Business Practice experience.
- Proven strong leadership experience
- Demonstrated ability to effectively lead a team & create a collaborative atmosphere
- Knowledge of various healthcare, medical, or physician recruiting modalities in a corporate or private practice
- Detailed knowledge of state laws & regulations
- Knowledge of workforce planning, compensation, learning & development, diversity/inclusion, or business planning
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, listening & presentation)
- Demonstrated ability to interface & develop collaborative relationships with senior executives & influence other leaders to adopt & participate in strategic change initiatives
- Prior experience analyzing data & metrics to implement change in departmental processes
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong organization skills, time management & prioritizing
- Ability to work independently & cross-functionally
- Comprehensive knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications
- Work location: either agile in Mason, Ohio or work-at-home/remote
- Up to 50% travel is anticipated
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Leadership of a Recruiting team with a preference for experience in a Clinical setting
- Experience leading & managing a geographically dispersed team(s)
- Broad recruitment experience in corporate staffing, search firm, &/or recruitment process organizations; exposure to a variety of recruiting/staffing organizational models
- Understanding of Optometry equipment & patient care
- Experience with recruitment operations including applicant tracking systems, automated reporting & vendor management
Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements.
