Responsibilities

Peraton is seeking a Microsoft 365 Engineer. This position will support Microsoft 365, Azure, and Cloud collaboration tools day to day, development, modernization, and migration in support of a government multi-cloud environment. Aside from technical qualifications, applicant should have effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
This position is 100% remote.
Day to Day Work Responsibilites:
    Supports Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, PowerPlatform, and Azure AD
  • Supports on-going management and governance of the Mobility end point management, Office 365 and Azure AD, and eDiscovery environments.
  • Expertise in Intune, Identity Access Management, Azure AD, Office 365 solution,
  • Experience with eDiscovery tools, manage and configuring journaling and archive environment
  • Working knowledge of email routing - DNS/DKIM/SPF.
  • Must understand modern collaboration application management, and modern business requirements and performance measurement techniques, while performing logical and physical systems engineering and delivery in support of large enterprise collaboration environments.


Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree and 2 years of experience or a Masters degree and 0 years of experience or a High School diploma and 6 years of experience.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and able to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
  • Demonstrated experience with Microsoft 365 integration, systems analysis, and/or programming.
  • Proven expertise in supporting Exchange Server and/or SharePoint Server environments.
  • Strong background in collaborating with diverse technical teams spanning multiple IT disciplines.
  • In-depth knowledge of mail routing protocols and experience deploying Microsoft 365 solutions in government environments.
  • Exceptional communication and analytical skills, paired with advanced technical knowledge relevant to client environments.
  • Extensive experience with collaboration tools, cloud applications, and cloud migration activities, including developing system requirements and executing migrations.
  • Ability to produce clear, concise, and well-structured technical documentation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Microsoft 365 Certifications (e.g., Fundamentals, Messaging Administrator Associate, Enterprise Administrator Expert).
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate.
  • Microsoft 365 Expert Certification or equivalent advanced credentials.
  • Additional certifications related to Microsoft technologies (e.g., Windows Server, PowerShell, Active Directory).

Target Salary Range

$66,000 - $106,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
