The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The above hiring range represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. Position Summary University Life is a central division focused on enhancing the student experience across Columbia's 17 schools and colleges. We serve as a student life hub for the University and are committed to promoting a diverse and inclusive campus culture where students can thrive in all dimensions of their lives. University Life programs and initiatives are informed by three core values: inclusion & belonging, student well-being and sexual respect. The University Life Division consists of four departments: Student Life, Student Conduct and Community Standards, Religious Life and Community Impact. The Program Manager for Student Life will be a part of the Student Life department, which focuses on building community outside of the classroom, increasing dialogue about critical issues of the day, strengthening students' leadership skills, and promoting students' well-being. Reporting to the Associate Director for Student Life, the Project Coordinator for Student Life is responsible for the operations of key University Life programs and initiatives, including programs to promote student community building across the University and for ensuring that these programs align with University Life's strategic plan and priorities. This position also supports the advisement of the University Life Events Council, provides student leadership development opportunities, and supports production assistance for University Life's signature events. This position will require some evening hours during the semester, and very occasional (i.e. 2-3 times per year) weekend work. Minimum Qualifications
