Description
Auria is looking to hire a Systems Engineer to support the development of the Command and Control System - Consolidated (CCS-C) Sustainment and Resiliency (C-SAR) program for current and future satellites. The primary work location is in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Essential Functions:
- Responsible for designing, developing, implementing, integrating, and documenting technical products within the CCS-C system
- Work closely with system developers, testers, and on-site user support personnel to support system updates, analyze and resolve system issues, and ensure project objects are met
- Provide technical advice and deliver customer presentations for architecture and potential solutions
- Attend and support highly technical engineering team meetings; and support Data Products Development, which includes APIs, databases, Human Machine Interfaces (HMI), simulations, and Take Automated Operations (TAO)
Basic Qualifications:
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Government TOP SECRET security clearance (requires U.S. Citizenship)
- Experience supporting programs through requirements reviews and design reviews
- Experience with structured and Object Oriented Program Languages (e.g., C, C#, C++, Java, JavaScript)
- Familiarization with modern IT infrastructure capabilities including virtualization, cloud deployment, and containerization
- Familiarization with DOD communication systems and subsystems (e.g., C2ISR platforms, SATCOM, data links)
- Experience working within an agile system development framework, conducting systems engineering tasks for a complex system across multiple teams of developers, engineers, and testers
- Ability to isolate and resolve complex problems, identify workarounds, and implement and document corrective actions across multiple systems and components
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage numerous demonstration events at the same time
Preferred Qualifications:
- Current U.S. Government TOP SECRET security clearance (requires U.S. Citizenship)
- Security+ certification
- Experience with the Satellite Control Network (SCN) and Wideband SATCOM command and control (C2) systems, products, and interfaces
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum team using tools to assist system development, such as Jira and Confluence, is highly desirable
- Familiarity with other engineering disciplines (systems, hardware, test, configuration management, and quality engineering) and how they interact with software engineering
Salary Range: $108,000 - $144,000 The salary offered will be based on the selected candidate's qualifications - skills, education & experience - and the position level
- Engineer Level 3: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline and 7+ years of relevant experience, Master's degree and 4+ years of relevant experience
- Engineer Level 4: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline and 12+ years of relevant experience, Master's with 9+ years of relevant experience
- Engineer Level 5: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline and 16+ years of relevant experience, Master's with 12+ years of relevant experience
