JOB SUMMARY
Under supervision of the Facility Manager is responsible for providing onsite maintenance and repair of building equipment and systems to ensure 24/7 facility access to a clean, safe working environment that supports the ZOLL Corporate Mission JOB FUNCTIONS Essential Functions *Performs troubleshooting, preventive & corrective maintenance of building equipment and systems on time and in an appropriate manner and documents same utilizing a work order system. *Evaluates equipment performance and recommends improvements to maintenance program and system design. *Assists external service providers/contractors responsible for building equipment and systems when necessary. *Independently applies skills, experience and general knowledge to a wide range of tasks to troubleshoot, adjust, install, repair, replace and maintain equipment or facilities. *Available for and responds to unscheduled, emergency, on-call, after-hour situations to meet the needs of the department, i.e., floods, roof leaks, storm emergencies, etc. *Develops and maintains spare parts inventory. *Orders products supplies and other materials as needed for routine operation of equipment and systems. *Ensures quality of work, provides in-house expertise. *Ability to work independently. *Participates in and successfully completes mandatory education and/or training. *Works on special projects as assigned *Comply with all policies and standards. *Any other job responsibilities as assigned by management and subject to modification.
