Responsibilities Orrick is seeking talented and motivated associates with 2 to 4 years of experience to join our technology law practice. Orrick's Intellectual Property group is unique in its focus on a multi-disciplinary approach to technology litigation. We handle cutting-edge cases involving multiple areas of law, including copyright, trademark, and trade secret. Our practice includes risk assessment and litigation work in support of our client's Artificial Intelligence initiatives, from data collection, model training, and model outputs. We counsel our clients on risk and litigate disputes when risks turn into lawsuits. Orrick is one of the few firms with a nationwide team of renowned first-chair trial lawyers specializing in trademark, copyright, trade-secret, and AI litigation. We are one of the few national IP groups that actively litigates and has expertise in data-collection disputes under the CFAA. We practice in multiple forums, including federal court, state court, the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board, the ITC, and arbitral proceedings including the UDRP process. Our U.S. Intellectual Property team is primarily based in our Southern California, Bay Area, and East Coast offices. Key Responsibilities:

Compensation and Benefits The expected salary range for this position is between $235,000 and $310,000. Orrick is committed to providing a comprehensive, competitive, and thoughtful total compensation package to our attorneys and staff, wherever they work. This compensation and benefits information is based on the Orrick's estimate as of the date of publication and may be modified in the future. The level of pay within the range will depend on a variety of job-related factors that may include, but not limited to, qualifications, relevant experience or education, particular skills or expertise, geography. Other compensation may include an annual discretionary merit bonus, which would be determined by Firm and individual performance.
