Summary: The IT Support Technician II will work with IT Manager on various projects. The Role as an IT Support Technician II, you will use your technical knowledge and specialized skills to support, build, implement, and improve technology solutions. You are able to resolve customer issues in time of crisis to get them working again. This is a hybrid position that will require candidate to work 3 days a week in the office.
Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions:
- Manage daily monitoring of the ticket queue, Cloud Services, MS 365, preventative maintenance including wire management, testing, labeling, routine software upgrades, and preventative maintenance
- Support information technology assets via routine technical SOPs on hardware, operating systems, and enterprise application software
- Support the IT network for Goldbelt's operations and assist with special projects as needed
- Provide support locally and remotely through all available support tools
Qualifications
Necessary Skills and Knowledge:
- Provide IT support to all levels of the organization Proficient with Inventory and Asset Management
- Proficient in Mobile Device Management (MDM)
- Proficient in deploying policies for devices and services through InTune
- Proficient in maintaining and developing Service Catalogs and Portfolios
- Ability to embrace change, learn quickly, and thrive in a dynamic corporate environment
- Skill in working harmoniously within cross-functional teams to achieve common objectives
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines
- Possesses attention to detail and effective problem-solving skills
- Must have the ability to communicate effectively and diplomatically, both verbally and in writing, with co-workers and with outside agencies, partners, shareholders, and business associates
- Strong cultural awareness and sensitivity, with the ability to adapt messages and strategies for diverse audiences
- Proficiency in standard software applications, including Windows and MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum six (6) years in the Information Technology field and previous experience providing Tier-1 IT and Tier-2 IT support
- Certified in Microsoft AZ-900, SC-900, or MS-900
- Experience within an enterprise environment
- Experience in IT Project and Portfolio Management
- Experience Supporting 100 or more users (on-site and remote users)
- Experience supporting Windows 11 / Office 365
- Experience Supporting Apple Devices / Android Devices / Laptops / Desktops / Mobile Phones
- Experience with Managing Cloud Accounts (Entra, VoIP, Mobile Device Management, etc.)
- Ability to pass a background check
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent years of experience
- Cloud (Microsoft Azure) and Microsoft 365 certifications
- Microsoft Technology Associate (MTA 93-349) OR Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA - Windows 11)
- Previous experience in HPE Aruba Switches, Aruba AP's, and Sonicwall Firewalls Previous experience working with Alaska Native Corporations (ANCs)
- Previous experience working with government contracting requirements
